Mi Aniefuna
Mi is an educator, public health & education researcher, storyteller, artist, dad, and doctoral candidate in health and behavior studies at Teachers College, Columbia University. Mi researches adolescent mental health and identity development, racism & health, social determinants of health, and equity & innovation in education. His research informs his pedagogy, making cultural affirmation, students' well-being, and curiosity central to his teaching.
Mi is the Head of Research at EdSurge, Co-Director of the Aniefuna Institute for Black Health Equity, a collegiate instructor of public health, education, justice studies and an elementary reading and writing teacher.
